Restrictions lifted – We’re beach bound

The beginning of Summer is just days away, and as of Tuesday, May 19, vacation rental restrictions have been lifted in Destin, Florida. Beaches are open, and new health and safety standards are in place.

We are thrilled with the news and look forward to seeing attendees at the GAPA 2020 CME Conference September 5-9 at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.

Tuesday afternoon we received the following statement from Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.

Sandestin is proceeding with a thoughtful, phased opening for the services we offer our guests now that vacation rental restrictions have been lifted. Private vacation rentals remain the best way to social distance at the beach. We are opening Thursday, May 21 and are ready to take your reservations — come see the new Sandestin!

Our top priority is your health and safety.

We have stringent new health and safety standards focused on all touch points for guests and employees. From new check-in procedures that limit contact to increased disinfecting of all public areas, find out more about our enhanced cleanliness initiatives in every area of Sandestin.

In addition to our internal changes, we ask our guests to review your employer’s guidelines and governmental guidance to confirm eligibility to travel and stay at our resort and/or leave their own state. Reservations will not be honored where prohibited*.”

Sandestin’s new health and safety standards, along with our Self-Care Guarantee, allows you to register with peace of mind.
